Como Park Lakeside Pavilion

This is the latest in my Como Park series: The Lakeside Pavilion. The first pavilion was wooden and built on the west bank of Como Lake in 1894. The classic concrete structure we have today has gone through many changes but it's purpose has remained —to present musical concerts. In 1992, the pavilion was rebuilt using the original 1905 blueprints. Today the pavilion houses the popular Como Dockside restaurant, rental facilities for boating and biking, and presents musical theater and concerts throughout the summer. I grew up skating on the lake in the winter. I can't imagine a finer warming house!
